The R-392 receiver covers 0.5 to 32 megacycles in 32 bands
of one megacycle. One the eight lower bands it operates as
a triple conversion superhetrodyne with the first variable
intermediate frequencies (VIF) in range of 9 to 18 mc. The
second VIF is 2 to 3 mc and the fixed IF is 455 kc.
The following table shows the mixer frequencies and IF
frequencies for each band position. This information comes

Note that the first band mechanically covers 0 to 1 mc,
but that the input circuits only tune 0.5 to 1 mc.
